Laura is a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse at Newcastle & Hunter Community Health, bringing more than six years of nursing experience across a wide range of clinical settings. Her nursing career began in New Zealand, where she spent over five years working in acute surgical wards before relocating to Australia in 2024. Since then, Laura has gained valuable experience across medical, orthopaedic, neurological, palliative care and rehabilitation services. She also has clinical leadership experience, regularly working as the nurse in charge and providing relief as a Nurse Unit Manager. Laura’s transition into community care has been seamless. She is committed to providing holistic, personalised care and takes the time to understand the individual needs of every client. Known for her kindness, strong work ethic and compassionate approach, Laura consistently goes above and beyond to support clients’ health, comfort and independence. Outside of work, Laura enjoys exploring new places, spending time at the beach and camping with her partner and their dog, Frankie.
